A town faces chaos and uncertainty.
Without warning, the residents find themselves battling for survival against a zombie outbreak. Panic spreads as infected citizens stagger through streets. Terrified locals flee for safety, while some exploit the lawless situation. Darker instincts emerge in a few, threatening the vulnerable.
As the pandemic overwhelms community services, citizens feel increasingly isolated and afraid. Yet within hardship often comes opportunity. Some discover new paths forward, though not all lead to places worth going. Each must decide how best to endure hard times and help others do the same.
The protagonist, Miyako, fights to protect neighbors from the infected. But after being bitten, she awakens changed. Faced with an unexpected gift, or curse, she ponders her role and humanity's resilience in the face of adversity. Though the road remains unclear, together the townspeople may find a way through if united by their shared hopes, not divided by their individual fears. There remains reason to believe in each other, and in ourselves.
